MGEN-3 language files

to provide an alternative language for MGEN-3's menu a text file can be produced and uploaded on the SD card into the folder "Text". It has the file extension .m3tx.

There is a definition file with extension .strdef, that is used for translating with the text editor.

You can edit the new language definitions with it for any language and
also select a proper font for displaying it. (The fw's embedded default
is "Arial" and only english charset.)

How to use it:
1. make a copy of the given .strdef file for a new language, for
example: mg3_txtdefs_German.strdef
2. Run the exe.
3. Open the file copy file with the 'Open' button. On the left the text
definitions appear in a tree structured view. At the most top level
there are the sections (menu icons and misc. stuff) and inside them the
screens/pages for them. If you check it on the HC, you can see what text
is displayed and where.
4. Select a font for the new language with the "Choose Font" button.
(Size is dontcare, mg3 uses a fixed height now.)
5. Select a text definition item by clicking the "Next to be translated"
button on the left bottom and the data is shown on the right. The
original (fw's) text is displayed in the "Default text" edit box. The
"Description" below it may show some info about the text item, what is
says and when it's shown. You have to make a translation into the
"Translated" edit box on the right. In the black rectangle under the
"Choose Font" there's a preview, it displays what the mg3 HC will
display. If there's a translation, it displays the translation,
otherwise the default english text (but with the new font).

Once you exit the program, the definition file is saved to disk and some
backup files are also left. (The latest 9 ones.) Only when changes were
made.

If you want to export the text+font to be used in mg3, press "Export
with font". This will ask for a filename, then creates the file. (It
should have an extension of ".m3tx") This file should be put on the SD
card and mg3 is able to read and use it. (There will be an "online
uploader" later as a part of the main MGen-3 App, when HC is connected
to the PC, so the card should not be removed and put back etc.)
For simplicity, there will be fixed directories on SD card that contains
specific data, like "/MGen-3/Texts/...." and such. But full browsing
will be allowed later.

There's a button called "Merge". This will be used when a new official
release is out and it has a new language definition file. You can merge
this new one with an existing and translated one and you can see what
texts are new and not yet translated and do it for the language. (If a
text doesn't exist in a current language file for a new fw., mg3 will
display the engish one with the embedded charset.)

And that's all, even for chinese. Currently there's only 2x 64kB
allocated for the charset but chinese may need more, probably 1MB. This
memory size will be configurable later at booting time. (As a fixed and
probably stable system we never use dynamic memory allocations.)

Other things about the text system:
There are some special characters available (if the user don't want to
use new font, these are embedded in the default one), which you can
select in the middle and insert it to the text:
   - "inverted" and "normal" are special command codes meaning that the
following characters need to be inverted or not. By default all text is
noninverted but if some want to, can display parts of it inverted.
   - "wildcard" is used for unknown characters, though you could enter
it in a text
   - other chars. except the last one ("obj") is as they look
   - "obj" means a special place in some text definitions that require a
data embedded inside the string. "Description" will give help about
this, if this character is required.

The current text database is not the final, there will be new
definitions or small changes but you can start the translation by this.
